What do you mean this is my breakfast?

"HIP HIP HOORAY! Lucy, it's time to get up, we got a BIG day."
That is how Dad woke me up. I was so tired..Dad please shut-up!
"No No No", he said. "Time to eat breakfast,
so we can get dressed and go go go!
So up I finally got, so slowly I went to the table
Green eggs and ham, no I won't eat them, eat them I will NOT!
Sorry Dad, I am just not able.

I will not eat them while outside,
I will not eat them on my slide
I do not like them swinging from a tree
I do not like them, let me be!

I will not eat them in my chair
I will not eat them anywhere!
I do not like them in the car
I do not like them near or far!

Dad! If you will let me be, I will try them. You will see.
Hey, I like these green eggs and ham. I like them, yes, I must say!

I will eat them on my slide
I will eat them while outside!
I like them in my chair
I like them ANYWHERE!

Now that breakfast over
Dad loaded me up and off I went
riding in the stroller.

He wouldn't tell me where we were heading
Then I saw it,
we were at Seuss Landing!

Here I am, running my zoo
What way would you turn, what would you do?

Here I am, me with my Dad
In Seuss landing how could anybody ever be sad?

Me on the Caro-Seuss-el
Boy I am cool.

Next we were off to the Cat in the Hat
When Mom walked up she was told she couldn't ride that.
No, don't even bother
cause your pregnant with my little brother.

Next I went shopping at Mulberry Street store.
They had gizmos, gadgets, goodies galore!

Then I found this sucker at Snookers & Snookers Sweet Candy Cookers

Okay, next we left Seuss Landing so Dad said we could stop the rhyming. If I had to do it anymore I was about to start crying!
The next place up was Jurassic Park. Dad was teaching me about dinosaurs last week at the library and thought this would be a great place to continue the learning.
Here I am with mom looking at Dino eggs. Wow, these guys are pretty friendly. Big too!

Then we found this T-Rex fossil. I couldn't stop looking at those teeth! My feet are little smaller than his too.

Mom & Dad...You're the best!

Mom thought it would be a good idea if I took Marmaduke for a walk. BAD Idea! I was hanging on for dear life.

Then Dad saw this girl who wanted to get a picture with him. I thought she looked a little like a home wrecker. Don't worry Mom, I kept my eye on her the whole time!

Then while we were looking for a place to eat Dad blew out his flip flop. So we decided to stop and waste away for a while in Margaritaville. Dad had a cheeseburger and said it was like paradise. Dad also said Mom was the woman to blame...whatever that means.

Well, that about wraps it up. It was a great adventure. Oh, I almost forgot. To the two people who voted to keep the toilet paper to the back, please do not identify yourself. It would be best for everyone. I told you that was a serious question and would hate to have to tell you we can't be friends anymore.
This weeks poll is based on animals. It tells a lot about you....Cats or Dogs?
Talk to you peeps next week!
Lucy Sky...OUT!!!

  3. I have so much to say I'm not sure where to start.

Lu - way to watch out for the home wrecker
Kel - CUTE tank, good pic Mrs. S!!
John - making Lu take 34398 photos before she can eat her breakfast, borderline child abuse, right?? :) JK!!

    Poll - AGREED

You guys are the cutest family ever, glad you had such a great weekend!!

  4. HAHAHAHA!!! What a great weekend! Lucy, you're so young, but you've already learned so many of life's important open to trying new things, the importance of family time and togetherness (including constant vigilance) and a margarita and a cheeseburger can fix just about anything. Thanks for taking us all along for the ride! - Lauren

  5. I must really say
That you had a fun filled day.
All that time spent with your dad,
by the end you must have been very glad.
What else left was there to do?
Why didn't you guys go to the zoo?
All these things look like so much fun,
Just make sure you don't get burnt by the sun.
Green eggs and ham looked hard to make,
But I still would have fed them to Pancake.
What will be next I can hardly wait,
Better get going or else I'll be late.

  6. Lucy, I told you about THAT DR. Look what he has done to your Uncle Matt!! Still, looks like a really fun day!!

    Love you,

    Grama Mary Ann

  7. Lucy this is Miss Melisa e-mailing you all the way from Austria. I had to take a moment to tell you that I love your rhyming ability and perhaps you should start rapping. You might have quite the career!
Also, don't eat green eggs and ham, that is just gross!
    Have a great day!
    Miss Melissa
