I'm a fantasy football player!!!

First I have to say SORRY to all of my peeps for being late this week. Some of my craft schedules didn't work with my blogging schedule so I got behind. I will have my personal assistant, Mom, make sure that doesn't happen again in the future!

So this week Dad invited me into the world of Fantasy Football! He said we were going to join a league and play the family and a few of my BFF's...Lauren, Carl & Jenn. He said I needed to study hard though if I wanted to do good, so I busted out the Sports Illustrated FFB (that's Fantasy Football for you non-players) I named my team the Lucy Skyhawks. I will keep everyone posted on my weekly results and the plight of my fellow league members.

Oh my gosh, there is so much to learn here. By the way they talk in this magazine there is more than picking a few names. I hope Jenn is studying because I am coming prepared! She is going down!!!

Man, this is getting a little overwhelming! I bet Carl is freaking out right now with all this information overload...He's going to get CRUSHED.

So now it is draft night....So I thought I would get into the spirit and threw on this Colts cheerleaders outfit and show Lauren I mean business. Her team is terrible, you might as well drop out now sister!!!

Then Dad saw what I was wearing and it did not go over well at all! He said if I was going to wear that outfit I needed to know a few things first. He began to tell me all about the Cleveland Browns and the rich history they have. Kinda like my team is going to have compared to Mom's team. Does she even know what a football is? Probably not by the looks of who she drafted!

He then brought out his autographed 1989 Cleveland Brown football and showed me Bernie Kosar's signature. His Dad bought that for him at his first ever football game when he was a kid. Bernie is Dad's all-time favorite player. The Browns beat down the Houston Oiler's in that game like I am going to beat down my big brother Kevin in this thing. He might play football, but he is going to get schooled on the fantasy grid iron!

So now that Dad shared some of this history with me I ran back to my room and now I was ready to REALLY set the mood......Go BROWNS!!!

So with that said, who do you think will win this league? Vote on this weeks poll!
Thanks again for being so patient with the blog this week. Now that I know Christmas is the favorite holiday of my fans I will make sure there is a GREAT blog for that week.
Until next week, Lucy Sky is OUT

Spending Time with the Family

This week was all about relaxing with the family instead of epic adventures. Sometimes you gotta slow it down a bit Mom says.
So early this week Mom and I got together in the kitchen and made smoothies! They were yummy! Mom says good for me too, but I think she put ice cream in hers and that doesn't sound to healthy to me.

Then later, for snack time, Mom thought I was now ready to eat my bananas like a monkey! This is so much fun!!! Dad said wait until I get to eat mashed taters like a piggy. (Like in that Christmas movie he makes us all watch every year.)

Then my big brother Kevin showed up. I love him! I followed him everywhere. After I got done with my breakfast I thought maybe he needed my help too. I just can't stop staring at him.

Then Kevin was going to wash the new van, so I thought I would tag along and help him. I just gotta do whatever he is doing....he is so interesting!

Hmmmm.....what do I do with all this stuff?

This is pretty fun!

Maybe, just maybe, if I stand on the sponge the car will get cleaner!

After all that hard work outside I talked Kev into watching a baby Einstein movie. He wasn't as into as I was. Baby Einstein ROCKS!

Then he had to leave. Bye Kev...See you next week!

Well Kev is gone, Mom went to Bible study...so Dad and I walked to the store to see my peeps! They were so happy to see me they didn't give me one, not two, not three but FOUR raspberry donut holes! I love those guys! Dad only let me have one though.
Then we got home and I changed clothes. Dad, we are having so much fun together just me and you..can I have one more????

Then I was showing Pancake what I had and how good it was and he TOOK it... :(

More?

Mmmmm.....raspberry jelly!

Don't forget the milk!

Dad, I won't even tell Mom we did this just before bed...I Love you man! What a great and relaxing week.

Lastly, Thanks to all the Dog lovers out there! My Pancake dog is the best and I really don't mind sharing my donut with him. What I need to know now about my readers is what is your favorite Holiday? I know mine!!!

What do you mean this is my breakfast?

"HIP HIP HOORAY! Lucy, it's time to get up, we got a BIG day."
That is how Dad woke me up. I was so tired..Dad please shut-up!
"No No No", he said. "Time to eat breakfast,
so we can get dressed and go go go!
So up I finally got, so slowly I went to the table
Green eggs and ham, no I won't eat them, eat them I will NOT!
Sorry Dad, I am just not able.

I will not eat them while outside,
I will not eat them on my slide
I do not like them swinging from a tree
I do not like them, let me be!

I will not eat them in my chair
I will not eat them anywhere!
I do not like them in the car
I do not like them near or far!

Dad! If you will let me be, I will try them. You will see.
Hey, I like these green eggs and ham. I like them, yes, I must say!

I will eat them on my slide
I will eat them while outside!
I like them in my chair
I like them ANYWHERE!

Now that breakfast over
Dad loaded me up and off I went
riding in the stroller.

He wouldn't tell me where we were heading
Then I saw it,
we were at Seuss Landing!

Here I am, running my zoo
What way would you turn, what would you do?

Here I am, me with my Dad
In Seuss landing how could anybody ever be sad?

Me on the Caro-Seuss-el
Boy I am cool.

Next we were off to the Cat in the Hat
When Mom walked up she was told she couldn't ride that.
No, don't even bother
cause your pregnant with my little brother.

Next I went shopping at Mulberry Street store.
They had gizmos, gadgets, goodies galore!

Then I found this sucker at Snookers & Snookers Sweet Candy Cookers

Okay, next we left Seuss Landing so Dad said we could stop the rhyming. If I had to do it anymore I was about to start crying!
The next place up was Jurassic Park. Dad was teaching me about dinosaurs last week at the library and thought this would be a great place to continue the learning.
Here I am with mom looking at Dino eggs. Wow, these guys are pretty friendly. Big too!

Then we found this T-Rex fossil. I couldn't stop looking at those teeth! My feet are little smaller than his too.

Mom & Dad...You're the best!

Mom thought it would be a good idea if I took Marmaduke for a walk. BAD Idea! I was hanging on for dear life.

Then Dad saw this girl who wanted to get a picture with him. I thought she looked a little like a home wrecker. Don't worry Mom, I kept my eye on her the whole time!

Then while we were looking for a place to eat Dad blew out his flip flop. So we decided to stop and waste away for a while in Margaritaville. Dad had a cheeseburger and said it was like paradise. Dad also said Mom was the woman to blame...whatever that means.

Well, that about wraps it up. It was a great adventure. Oh, I almost forgot. To the two people who voted to keep the toilet paper to the back, please do not identify yourself. It would be best for everyone. I told you that was a serious question and would hate to have to tell you we can't be friends anymore.
This weeks poll is based on animals. It tells a lot about you....Cats or Dogs?
Talk to you peeps next week!
